Color Moods: sweet coral

I love coral. It lends a sweet warmth to a warm and its perfectly complemented with shades of aqua and blue. Coral can range from a subtle orange pinkish tone all the to the other end of the spectrum in a vibrant deep orange. Either way..it's a lovely color, and it deserves a special color moods applause!

Do you have places in your own home where you have used coral?

These are some very inspiring images!

I have generally steered away from this color for no particular reason. But recently I added a painting to our house that has a decent amount of coral in the background and I love it against our blue walls.

i'll admit i have never used much coral at home, but these images are so gorgeous, might have to reconsider. :)

Some gorgeous images. We have a feature wall in our kitchen/living room the same shade as the last image. The walls are in ecru which looks great. I love the image of the large cupboard - the coral looks gorgeous with the french grey color.

Wonderful pics! I like how coral is feeling fresh again in these pairings. Love the wood chair in the first pic too.
