Blog Love: The Goodwill King!

For a while (until two days ago), Will and I were living pretty much on one salary. So I have learned (Will may disagree) how to penny pinch, and shop for bargains for the home. We were going over all our furniture recently, and pretty much all except a few pieces were steals from goodwill, or craigslist, or markets. 

I LOVE to see people making amazing homes on a budget..and I have found the KING of Goodwill Hunting. He actually calls himself Mr. Goodwill Hunting!

Miya and Elisabeth have got it going on...they've put their creative brains together and came up with their Lifestyling business..catering towards individuals and small businesses. They founded
YOU + ME* Equals.... and they just recently had a spotlight in Rue magazine! Their blog offers great ideas for gifting, stationary, their personal endeavors in cooking (they look SO tasty!), and all things festive.

They are my new favorites....

Blog Love: I made it!!!

Wow, sorry, I said I would be back Saturday, and here it is Thursday! A combination of lots of snow, no internet, and a surgery, can really make you disappear for a while! I will have to say that the strangest thing has happened since my surgery, and maybe it just relates to the healing and recovering process, but I can't drink coffee!!! I'm not crazy about the taste or the smell, I've tried to drink it and can only take down a few sips. This makes me sad. I hope this doesn't last long! I could write pages, I feel like I have been SO disconnected from everyone, thank you for your sweet comments and well wishes, they mean so much to me...I'm serious! 

So let's jump back into schedule now!!

I found a new blog that I LOVE! Coco Pearl. This little lady is from Melbourne! She has two amazing blogs to offer, Coco Pearl which focuses on her passion for everything interiors and Design Bubble which is fashion centered. She has created great sources for lots of inspiration.

Guess what?! I'm in love with another blog! There so many out there, it is just so hard to pick one each week, but I have to say I am really loving Danielle Oakey's blog. What is the deal with Utah and awesome bloggers, it's a little weird don't ya think? I think they have some secret blog university going on or something. I'm going to look into that.

Anyhow, Danielle knows all about decorating on a small budget, so her blog offers some wonderful diy ideas for your home. She has a good eye for mixing textures and pattern,  she's going to be very successful, I can tell!

Oh, and did I mention her precious little girl, Emory? She's got style!

Blog Love's: Simply Seductive

I love feeling seductive (for my husband!), fashion, design, and beautiful pictures. So when I found Simply Seductive 's blog, I felt right at home. Her stylish eye for design is impeccable. Her blog focuses on interiors, shoes, color inspiration, travel, and fashion editorials, and states she "dreams of being a glamorous nomad living in a custom-decor airstream." I was so pleasantly pleased to find her blog (someone I admire told me they HATED the word excited, so I'm trying my best not to use it!)

 I want to take a picture like this and put it in our room!

I have another crush this week...Little Blue Deer. I've been seeing this blog around a lot lately... and every time I popped over to visit, I have always been very impressed. Shari Miller is a graphic designer based in Savannah, Georgia, and she creates some amazing blog designs. 

Aren't these great?! Im a big fan. She also has some very beautiful interior inspiration.

I can't lie, it does make me a liiiitttlle jealous to see blogs completely TAKE OFF in a matter of months, but I am so impressed with this one that I have to share. Bijou and Boheme. Christine has created a wonderful blog filled with eclectic images that are truely inspiring. She has a keen eye for pairing patterns and textures. So if you are stuck in a rut head on over, I'm sure you find some ideas!
