We also did a little funiture moving (Will's suggestion) and it really created a new look for the living room. It gives the room a cozy environment. The furniture layout before was just very typical, and I don't like 'typical' it's an ugly word when it comes to designing.

There's a sofa table behind...the sofa. Didn't get a good shot of that, but it's there.
What do ya'll think? Is it working or no? Do I need a rug? (I think I already know the answer to that one)

looks awesome nikki! i seriously love it. I don't know the first thing about design but i don't really think you need a rug. I like that the ottoman is kind of a focal point and it seems like a run would draw your eyes away from it. But I bet you could pick out an awesome rug of the perfect size that would tie everything together beautifully :-)

In love with the fabric for the curtains. Were they ready-made or did you make them?
I don't think you need a rug. It doesn't look like it's missing to me.
