Gold is such a classic, it has in and out times and right now it's definitely in! It easily adds glamour and sophistication to any room. I love it when used in small doses, like the inside shade of a lamp, the frame of a mirror, the trim of a victorian chair, the rim of a wine glass, eww I love it!

I was told a few years ago that I should wear more gold, because it would look good with my red hair. This is going to sound bad, but I always thought gold was for "older" people. I was so wrong! I've been wearing it ever since, and I use it all over my home. It gives such a classic and rich touch to a room.
Were else do you like to use accents of gold?

Oh I love those Hicks pendants. In the past I've worn two-tone jewelry so that I had both ends covered depending upon what I was wearing...I don't have much gold but I certainly wouldn't mind picking up a piece or two of gold jewelry.
This is probably the trend I get most excited about trend. Gold statement necklaces are my favorite. I used to be all about silver, and I've converted into a gold girl.
this time my eyes seem to bee tuned to the lamps... they all look so nice!
