This is my first Craigslist City Search post. I hope you like it. My plan is to search cities all across this great nation and find some of the amazing vintage things that Craigslist has to offer. If you're anything like me your heart flutters at the sight of an old untouched piece of furniture...and you would admit that its pretty much an addiction.
My first city of choice is Greenville, SC. A little selfish of a choice, but if you travel anywhere in between Charlotte and Atlanta, Greenville is right along the way!
Here's what I found....
Old Antique Dairy Canisters. Great vintage accessories for any room. $25 each!
All this bench needs is fresh coat of paint and a beautiful greek key fabric!
This lovely little lady is from a three piece bedroom set..$100. (for all 3!!)
You could give it a look similar to this one! So much potential, if only I had room.
Two leather wing back chairs..$125. I want them! I would reupholster them.
Similar to these....
Love this stool. $75.
Tell me how you feel about this Craigslist City Search idea. I'd love to hear it!

so jealous of those dairy canisters! I loved Greenville! I haven't played around much with that part of Craigslist, but now I can't wait to try! Have a great weekend, my dear! xoxo {av}
I love the idea for this series! I also love Greenville! My best friend lives there. Lastly, the chairs are amazing!!!!
I love it! I'm not anywhere near Greenville but those are great finds. Tomorrow I'm picking up a dresser with a hutch off craigslist for FREE! Woohoo! This piece is in desperate need of refinishing that will happen over the summer months but for right now it will get a wipe down so it can be used until then. I'm so excited. The gal over at "a few good pieces" blog has a similar dresser hutch as the one I'm picking up, refinished it and I'm super excited about it.......
I love it...can't wait to see more...Dawn Suitcase Vignettes..
I have just started looking at Craigslist! But I think there are way too many people shopping on it in Atlanta and they scarf it up! Looks like there are some great deals in Greenville!
I came across your blog today. I am located in Rock Hill, SC and I am from Florence, SC. It is good to see other Carolina bloggers. I am your newest follower and going to peruse your blog a bit.

WEll, who know Greenville has such great stuff. I used to live there when I was in 7th grade - just for a year. Great idea, but great finds on Chattanooga CL are few and far between!!
i'm obsessed with everything you just posted. trash to treasure right? i could just die over the long dresser...that is exactly what i need! i want something similar for our dining room...a buffet/dresser/sideboard/credenza/ANYTHING i can paint, accessorize and fill with goodies that have no homes. i wish lexington craigslist would make my dreams come true!
I like the idea. Just an FYI - there is another blogger who does something similar to this and she calls it, "What's Good in Your Hood?"
