"Spa" time

It has been one of those days. I have lost all sense of patience. My back stings. I'm done and I've checked out. Now if I could I would go straight home, turn on some relaxing music (maybe christmas music) and create a little spa in my bathroom, and I know excatly what I'd use!

Color Mood

Let me just start by saying welcome to all my newest followers. I am SO excited to have you following..I finally hit 100! I hope that you find Design Blooms a great place for inspiration and if you feel you need a deeper understanding of how to put your home together, color coordination, or shopping sources, just email me! I always planned on doing an overhaul once my blog hit a 100 followers..so this is my next step in my journey here at Design Blooms, along with adding a few more features, such as getting proffessional pictures taken of my home, and adding a home tour page.

Moving on! Color Moods. Have you seen the trees out there?!! I was just observing that here in SC our fall this year has been perfect, not too short like it is usually. We have this vibrant yellow tree in our backyard that I love to look at, its so beautiful. So my color inspiration this week has to be yellow.

Nest

I just started an awesome little side job at Nest. A cute little nursery boutique that offers so much more for a home than just a nursery! I love it there! I don't have babies yet but seeing all the expectant moms and new moms is giving me serious baby fever! Nest carries some great lines like Serena and Lily and DwellStudios!

I know where all my extra money is going!

Duty Calls!

Would so much rather do a post this morning but I have a MESSY art room that needs to be cleaned, desperately! Oh, and I have a few classes to teach!

And..this is my goal...rediculous, they must have an assistant! It's like a miniature Hobby Lobby!

I can't lie, it does make me a liiiitttlle jealous to see blogs completely TAKE OFF in a matter of months, but I am so impressed with this one that I have to share. Bijou and Boheme. Making a list....

Im really feeling the holiday spirit and I've even gotten a head start on my Christmas shopping....aaannnd maybe bought one for myself today! I couldn't resist turning down a ticket to Lavish, a blogging and social media conference hosted by the AMAZING Rue ladies!!! Oh man, I'm excited about this!
